My son Jax (9) has an unhealthy obsession with the game of lacrosse. While most kids are playing at a park or hanging out with their friends, Jax is playing wall ball or shooting a bucket of balls in the backyard. Before we knew it, our family’s weekends, holidays, and social life began to revolve around lacrosse.

It was all fun and games until a new home was constructed behind our residence in Naperville. After a few broken windows and damage to neighboring personal property, slinging solid rubber lacrosse balls at speeds sometimes in excess of 80 mph in the backyard became a liability.

We scoured the surrounding area looking for a place that was a short distance from home and landed on 655 N. Washington.

Previously housing an old car repair shop – 655 N. Washington features 16′ ceilings and clear spans. Perfect for lacrosse. Best of all, it’s a 5 minute walk from home.

Jax and I are building this facility because we love playing/training lacrosse together.
